I have been a loan officer for close to 10 years now and have worked for some very good mortgage companies. I was extremely happy working for my previous employer of five years and I thought life couldn’t get much better. That was until I interviewed with Derek Rohrbeck. After learning what Sterling had to offer me as an experienced loan officer I didn’t think twice. I knew Sterling was the perfect place for me. I know that in your email to me you referred to me as a top producer and I really do appreciate that. However, my main reason for coming to Sterling Home Mortgage was freedom. In a typical work day I was wasting 2 hours in traffic and anywhere from 2 to 4 hours just waiting on return phone calls, emails, and faxes. I was only able to get in about two efficient work hours a day. Now able to work from home I am able to do the same amount of work and enjoy the remainder of my day with my wife and two daughters. Sterling has given me the freedom to make a very good living and at the same time allowing me to spend time with my family and be bigger part of my children’s lives. Something that would not be possible working in an office environment away from home. I have only been with Sterling since March of this year but so far this has been the best job I have ever had and the best career move I have ever made.

I just wanted to thank-you personally for establishing a truly exquisite mortgage company. Previous to coming to Sterling, I was with Carnegie First for 3 years. Last year I was a Presidents Club winner and was honored to receive a Rolex watch and trip to Costa Rica. I never thought I would leave Carnegie, but when friend after friend left to come to Sterling I had to see why. After speaking with Derek a few times and having an online tutorial, I was very impressed, and the time came for a change.
I like streamlined systems, using technology to utilize my time most effectively, and your systems couldn’t be better. From the outlook contacts that have been so well updated to the paperless, online processing, I have really been blown away. Those are the kinds of things that I felt were wasting my time before. But now I enjoy them because they are so efficient.

I am working on the application today and if I all goes smoothly you will have it after lunch today. I've received some rave reviews about your company, I first heard the name when Cami & Dewey went to work with you. Then Van Staley "owner of TruePointe" of all people fully suggested Sterling Home Mortgage. It isn't common for an owner like Van even in his current position to recommend a company as he did yours.
If that wasn't enough I spoke with Jera Pennington, a true professional who in fact hired me on at True Pointe Mortgage as an Office Manager at that time. She is an awesome person now processing for Cami, Dewey and some other individuals. She couldn't say enough good things.
